SINCE 1974 A LONG DEVELOPMENT OF IDEAS AND TECHNOLOGIES
Toscana Enologica Mori started in 1974 as an artisan company, lead by the founder Franco Mori, togheter with his sons, Giorgio and Andrea, producing the first wine-making equipment in a small shop in the town centre of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa.
In 1981, the company moved to the Benvenuto Cellini industrial estate in the Sambuca area and started to expand its range of articles to destalking machines with basket and extractable beater, an important innovation at that time to arrive manufacturing grape selection lines for high quality production.
In 1984, production started on oil machinery and the agricultural exhibition of that same year the first SMALL OIL MILL as presented (the Vinolio oil press) with a very innovative characteristic: the Idea natural decantation separator replacing the centrifugal separator.
In 1993, after approximately 10 years of experience in the oil sector the Project Manager of every
TEM machine, Giorgio Mori, found out that to get the best product quality the olives have to be processed in the same day of picking, and planning started on OLIOMIO.
In 1996, first Oliomio 50 went on sale, in the years to follow several models have come out, with a maximum capacity machine of 2000 kgs of olives per hour. Oliomio is exported all over the world where extra virgin olive oil is produced, with more than 3000 machines installed.
The arrival in TEM of Patrizio and Giacomo put the third generation of the Mori’s family giving the input for the continuous development of the company that since 2011 is certified ISO 9001 in every working phase.
During latest years TEM started to produce machines for automatic filling in food sectors as wine, oil and artisan beer.
